My wife got me the Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L USM for my birthday. Wow – its basically solid glass ;-). I was really excited to use it to take pictures at the Christening of my niece as well as at the wedding ceremony of a good friend. I have to admit – it’s been amazing. Quite likely one of the most versatile lenses I have – especially in a range of lighting situations.
